Delete your StarBright account

In the app

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Account, choose Delete account and confirm.
3. A one hour countdown starts. During that hour you can Cancel deletion, or choose Skip countdown and delete now.

What is deleted

When the countdown ends, everything StarBright keeps for you on its servers is removed:

• your star charts, children, goals and stars
• the photos you shared, and the keys that protected them
• your friends, and the charts you shared with them (they lose access to those charts)
• your devices and their notification tokens
• your purchase and subscription records
• your sign-in

The app then switches to a guest account. Charts and photos that were already on your phone are not touched; uninstall the app to remove them.

Records the app stores generate about purchases, which carry a transaction identifier but not your name or account, are kept as required for accounting.

If you can no longer use the app

Email support@starbrightapp.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account for you. We will confirm by email once it is done.
